Terms and conditions

  • The Private Dentistry Awards are organised and administered by FMC.

  • The sponsors have no influence in the decisions made by the judges.

  • Sponsors do not sit in the committee of judges.

  • As long as your practice carries out some private treatment, you may enter these awards. You do not have to be 100% private practice.

  • You must subscribe to Private Dentistry journal in order to apply of the Private Dentistry Awards.
  • Closing date for all entries is Friday 27 July 2012.

  • Pre-register your entry by Friday 26 May 2012.

  • Entries will only be accepted when payment is received in full.

  • Entries may be withdrawn but not refundable.

  • You may enter as many categories as you like.

  • If you are only entering ‘Best Community or Charity Project’ you may enter free of charge.

  • The panel of judges are independent and are not influenced in any way. The judges decide the overall winners and their decision is final.  FMC will not be involved in any correspondence or enter into conversation about the decisions that have been made.   • The panel of judges select the shortlisted entries from all entries received.

  • If you would like your entry returned please notify FMC after the ceremony.  Please note you will need to pay for postage prior to returning your entry.

  • Entries will not be returned after 3 months following the awards ceremony.



  • Shortlisted entries will be displayed at the awards ceremony and it is upto the entrant to gain permission from the patient.  Winning cases may also be published in our journals.

  • Places at the awards ceremony are limited. Places are subject to availabilty. Please book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

  • Should you wish to cancel your tickets, 14 days notice is required prior to the awards ceremony.

  • Substitutions may be requested however, 10 days notice is required due to catering purposes.

  • The awards ceremony may be filmed and photographed. This may be used for promotional purposes and for publishing the event. Winners will be published in our journals and on our website.

  • Inappropriate behaviour at the ceremony will not be accepted and you may be asked to leave the venue without refund or compensation.
